Axel Schindler arbeitet mit detaillierten monochromen Illustrationen, die auf verschiedenen Materialien umgesetzt werden. Der Fokus liegt auf ein- und mehrfärbigen Siebdrucken, die selbstständig produziert werden. Ergänzend wird mit Acryl auf Leinwand, Wandgestaltungen und Originalgrafiken gearbeitet. Über einen humoristischen Zugang wird versucht, Gegenstände des Alltags neu zu sehen und Wahrnehmungen zu hinterfragen.
