Ula Sveikauskaite
I’m a freelance illustrator from Lithuania, graduated from Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree and currently living in Vienna, Austria.
I mainly work on book and editorial illustration, I especially love drawing for scientific articles. The idea and storytelling have a great importance in my work, although I usually prefer an ambient rather than a laconic concept in my images. It’s like revealing a story in a somewhat understated way so that a viewer can participate in its telling.
Sources of inspiration: academic drawing, Polish poster art, photography, architecture, boredom, the grotesque and the humor of everyday life.
