Justas Pranevicius

Born in 1989 in Visaginas Lithuania and since 2013 based in Vienna.
Finished my bachelor degree in Monumental Painting Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Vilnius. At the moment I’m working on the 100 head challenge so most of the works I produce are portraits.
In my work I like to combine figurative and abstract motives, giving the viewers space to fill it up with their own translation coming from personal experiences. My favorite medium is oil paint on canvas, however from time to time I experiment with different materials, techniques and surfaces.
