HNRX

HNRX was born in Innsbruck in 1993 and started painting at an early age. He moves like a nomad through Europe, lives in Vienna, Munich, London, Hamburg, Berlin, Bern … For him, art means the freedom to be able to do what he wants in the place of his choice. He doesn’t see himself as a typical graffiti or street art artist just because he prefers public places to paint instead of a studio. If he had to give his passion a professional title, it would be that of street artist. As a material he particularly appreciates concrete – with all its flaws and unevenness. This brings the desired liveliness. That is why he prefers cardboard to canvas, because cardboard – similar to a concrete wall – has its own structure and tells its own story.
