Antonia Stan
Antonia Stan (born 1995 in Graz) graduated from the HTL Ortwein for Art and Design in 2014 in the fields of sculpture and restoration. The following year she worked as a restorer of murals and architectural surfaces, and at the end of 2015 began studying at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna at the Institute for Artistic Teaching, in the subjects of Art and Education/ Visual Education, Technical and Textile Work.

Inspiration for her pictorial motifs is the urban habitat and the overlap but also intergrowth of this with untouched nature. Her paintings are characterized by clear spatial lines and strong color contrasts.
In 2018 she presented her work at the group exhibition “Junge Kunst Vol. 05”, a series of events to promote emerging art in Vienna, in 2019 at the exhibition “unfolding night. Taghelle Nacht” at the Kulturzentrum Wies, as well as annually at the Rundgang der Akademie. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
